Sybil's story
Sybil's - Proudly Australian Made
Sybil's Plus Size Fashion has a long history dating back well over fifty years when the original owners Sybil Jennings and Isabelle Deacon ran a chain of plus size clothing retail outlets in South East Queensland known as Carousel.
The name changed back in 2000 to Sybil's Plus Size Fashion and two years later the girl's decided to retire from the rag trade and sell the boutique chain to Brisbane based designer and manufacturer Leone Friman.
Since the purchase in 2002, Leone has taken the business to new heights with her designs and patterns that cater purely for women sized between 16 and 32. Sybil's close knit Brisbane based team of cutters, machinists and finishers maintain a very high standard of quality to each and every one of their garments.
Leone's choices of gorgeous fabric with glorious prints and stunning base cloths ensure Sybil's customers have up-to-date fashion trends making Sybil's Plus Size Fashion Australia's superior plus size clothing brand.
